Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a high-profile, trial-focused law firm to identify experienced Litigation Secretaries for temp-to-hire opportunities. This firm is actively in court and seeks professionals who thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment and have a proven ability to support attorneys through all phases of trial preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level litigation support to a team of attorneys in a busy, trial-driven practice.
  • Prepare, revise, and file pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence with a strong emphasis on state court e-filing.
  • Handle court calendaring and docket management, including deadlines, hearings, motions, and trial dates.
  • Coordinate trial preparation, including binders, exhibits, witness lists, and subpoenas.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  • Assist with additional administrative and litigation-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Litigation Secretary in a law firm environment is required.
  • Strong state court e-filing and calendaring experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with federal court procedures is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience supporting attorneys who frequently go to trial is highly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
